How MicroNeedling Collagen Induction Therapy Work?
Hitting reset on your skin can be as simple as a 30-minute microneedling treatment. Microneedling creates micro-channels (microscopic holes) at a rate of 1600 per second. These wounds stimulate your skin, kicking its healing process into high gear. Best of all, it doesn’t rely on heat or chemicals, so the results are natural and safe for all skin tones and types.
There are three phases to the wound-repair process:
Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
Phase III: Remodelling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.
For optimal results, we recommend 3-6 treatments with 4-6 week intervals. For severe scarring, up to 6 treatments may be required. Immediately following the treatment you may look like you have minor sun burn, and your skin may be warm and tighter than usual, this will begin to go down after 24 hours and will have completely gone down after 48 hours.

If desired, topical anesthetic is applied before treatment to provide light numbing. Body acupuncture is utilized during this time to address concerns, a holistic way.
Gentle Treatment
The initial stage involves cleansing of your skin, to ensure we are starting with a clean palate. Physician formulated, organic, vegan serum prepared for your skins individual needs will be applied. AcuMicro Pen is then used to create controlled microchannels, eliciting your body’s healing response. This will remodel and rejuvenate your skin to provide a younger, more firm and radiant appearance. The treatment is 60 minutes.
Post Treatment
Following treatment your skin may appear pink or slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. This typically disappears after 12–24hrs. Please be advised that there is no sun, no sweat, no make up for 24 hours post treatment, and your skin will be slightly pink for 12-24 hours post treatment.

Where can microneedling be used?
The micro needling treatment can be used across all areas of the face including the forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and under eye area.
What topical solutions are used?
To make the treatment as easy and stress free as possible, patient comfort and safety is vital. We may use prescription strength numbing cream LMX4 Lidocaine 4% Cream before the treatment to ensure maximum comfort for the client.
Can I go back to normal activity following treatment?
After treatment no make-up should be worn for the first 48 hours. For the first 14 days, you should avoid using any hair removal products, waxing, using sunbeds, swimming or self-tan products.
How long will my microneedling results last?
Micro needling produces results through the stimulation of growth factors and collagen, thereby promoting new skin cells to surface. As our skin ages, our collagen production naturally slows down. Your overall result will last longer when using an at home skin care regimen that includes a daily Retinoid product. New collagen and elastin formation in the skin are documented as visually and measurably improved as much as one year after just one treatment. However, a series of treatments is typically recommended for best results.
What will I look like after my microneedling treatment?
Micro needling is considered a no downtime treatment. Immediately after your treatment your skin will look slightly pink to moderately red. We will provide you with a post treatment instructions to ensure the optimal results and will greatly minimize these symptoms and enhance your overall results.
